Perhaps I spoke too soon. I'd just like to share the message we received from the theater just before going on stage at the Lamb's for our final show on Thursday. Last week we trilled fuck repeatedly in the final number as the pastor of the church looked on aghast. Apparently he missed the part where Stephen and I rolled around the floor in a lesbian lick-fest not two scenes prior. Certainly then it would have stated "Do not pantomime munching box please during the performance." Maybe accompanied by a helpful diagram, penned by the pastor himself. But then again, every guy likes to see two hot girls (well, guys in wigs) get it on for the first time. Preferably in a sweaty locker room. Truth be told, the people who run the theater were directed to give us the profanity message by the church-folk, forcing their hand. This begs the question: How do you do theater in a conservative church environment? Good question, me. Thank you. And the answer is: You don't. Goodbye, Lambs, it was fun. Before you attempt any Shakespeare please know that the man revelled in dick jokes and peppered every play with them, even the histories.

The priests at the Lambs have yet to find out, not only that some of us follow alternative lifestyles, but that we often take off our shirts and occasionally simulate autoeroticism onstage. We'll be back at the Lambs this thurs. the 4th and next thurs. the 11th. Both at 10pm. Until then please enjoy a doodle I found online that reminds me of my new working conditions.

Final show at the Belt was a rager.

Alright for those of you who missed the big last show at the Belt: There were lots of loose guys and gals there and you could've gotten laid. Plus, the show was ridiculous and a good time was had by all. In a rare display of variety Jimmy was the Dad, Stephen the Mom, and I the lone boy-child. The Dad went on what I can only call a metaphysical journey of the mind and self-destructive realization in which a demented Stephen fingered himself to exhaustion. Curiosity peaked yet? The Mom started as a coach for a young latina/disabled gymnast team which turned out to be an underage prostitution ring. Then, the son had an imaginary coyote-friend embodied in his right hand (it made him burn down city-hall before being exorcised...or was it?). My favorite part of the night came when I found out that while I played a somewhat naive deaf latina who felt sound vibrations through her sensitive buttocks there was an actual deaf woman in the audience, I assume sitting in silence(wink). So as you can see the Belt has been restocked with horrid psychic residue just in time for the deep fat fry-o-laters to move in.
Where to next for our intrepid players? That remains to be seen. Perhaps you have an idea. Let us know. Stephen continues to perform off-Broadway with awesome 80's Prom. Jimmy just had his debut as a genius musical writer in Raw Impressions' most recent incarnation. You can see me next Thurs. in The Ang Show, a live talk show at the Deitch art space in Williamsburg. Ooh, ooh I forgot!...Jimmy and Stephen will be in a short film premiering in the short film slam at the Pioneer Theater this Sunday at 5pm. Vote for them to win.

Don't miss our show on the 3rd. We're saying farewell to the Belt Theater as it starts its adventures in gastronomy. The Family is going to have to find a new home. In the meantime. We're heading off to California early in the summer and down to Atlanta for the Atlanta Improv Festival with those fuckers from Dad's Garage. Look below to see a glimpse of that demon monkey who would have torn us to shreds at the San Diego zoo. If it weren't for two inches of glass Jimmy would be picking monkey teeth out of his back.
